Few months ago I've started working on this new project. For the last 2 years, I had in my mind an album about the most important (to me!) decade of the last century - in which I was born.

Music, society, politics, culture, movies, design, glamour. But also, wars, assassinations, atomic danger, cold war... The sixties have been a decade of huge contrasts, and the artists in those years reflected them.

What does remain today? What lessons did we learn? Why these years are still so influential?

When I spoke about this project with Rob Cass, the producer of my previous album "Ergo Sum", he proposed me to write the songs with an exceptional author, surely one of the most influential poets/songwriters in the rock culture. That's how my collaboration started with Pete Brown - the man behind hits like "Sunshine Of Your Love", "White Room", "I Feel Free". In Eric Clapton's words "the fourth member of Cream". We've met, we've talked, we've written songs together. 10 songs, each for every year of the Sixties.

The album will be produced at the greatest recording studios: Abbey Road.

This blog is about this.
